Reducing the carbon footprint by the building and construction industry; specifically concrete, has taken a significant step forward. Making good on their commitment as a signatory of the Call on Carbon initiative; the international architectural firm Snøhetta has teamed up with startup Saferock. The collaborative research has led to the development of a net-zero concrete solution. This low-emission, geopolymer concrete will have a carbon footprint 70% lower than typical Portland cement.
